Happy New Year and Happy Chinese New Year (of the Tiger) to you all, and welcome to the third edition of our CUTERA Connection newsletter, designed to help keep all our customers and followers in Australia & New Zealand up to date with our latest corporate and regional news. We received some great feedback on the first editions. Therefore, we are committed to continuing with this initiative and helping keep you all informed. As we mark the first weeks of the new year, I want to take a moment to look back on 2021 and thank you all for your trust and support over the past 12 months.
Let me start by addressing the new elephant in the room – Omicron. Just as we thought we had overcome all the obstacles and disrupters COVID could throw at us, along comes another curveball in the form of the Omicron variant. Whilst in no way wanting to play down the seriousness of this variant, it is encouraging to know that the resilience we have all displayed in overcoming COVID to date, the fact the vast majority of people are fully vaccinated and the reality that our Governments have come to the conclusion that total lockdowns are an economy killer and are now a thing of the past, has us in a great position as we look to the future with a high degree of optimism. We can now have a strategic growth plan and put the necessary steps in place to implement that plan. Whether that be recruiting new positions, investing in advanced technology, or simply executing more effectively without constant disruption, we can see a light at the end of this tunnel.
