The truSculpt iD body-sculpting system uses monopolar radiofrequency energy to reduce the subcutaneous fat thickness and overall circumference in the areas that are often resistant to diet and exercise. Throughout the treatment session, electrical energy and actual skin surface temperatures are automatically adjusted to reach and hold a therapeutic temperature of more than 45º C in the fat layer during the treatment while keeping surface temperatures at comfortable levels.
truSculpt iD’s feedback mechanisms are even more important when delivering an automated treatment experience. The built-in continuous temperature monitoring and feedback system have been combined with a sophisticated energy delivery algorithm to allow a hands-free automated operation that’s safe and effective.
Temperature Control for Patient Satisfaction
Following the procedure, patients may report some warmth and redness in the treated area, although this typically lasts for less than one hour. Some patients also experience mild sensitivity to the touch for a few days, but this is rare and generally minor. Patients are able to return to normal activities and exercise immediately following the treatment.
